Why We Started Hello Matcha

After falling in love with matcha while exploring Japanese tea culture, we realised how hard it was to find authentic, high-quality matcha at a fair price in Australia.

Many options were either low quality or overpriced.

So we set out to partner directly with tea farms in Uji, Kyoto to bring genuine matcha to more people.
